biography

I am a full time painter who, after 20 years of collage work has taken to painting like finding a lost friend. I wouldn't say that painting has become easier but for the first time in my life I have recently been able to fully enjoy the fight. My technique is layering colours using rollerbrushes, artist brushes and charcoal being engaged in a continuous, spontaneous battle to rearrange the composition of colours, shapes and textures to give the desired effect nonforeseen.

I enjoy taking part in both solo and group shows all over the continent (occassionally ouside Europe) and meeting likeminded artists whether they be painters, sculptors, photographers, craftspeople or any other discipline which grabs my imagination.
